Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 8, 2026
In short: Poke Album does not collect, store or share any information about you. Your album stays on your device and, if you turn on backup, in your own iCloud account.
Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information the Poke Album app and this website use, and how.
1. Personal information
We do not collect any personal information about you. Personal information, also known as personal data, is information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact or locate a single person.
If you contact us by email, we will use your name and email address only to reply to you.
2. Non-personal information
We do not collect any non-personal information either, such as usage statistics or device details. The app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
3. Location
Poke Album uses your location while you are using the app to calculate the distance to your farthest gift. Your location is processed only on your device and is never sent to us. You can turn off location access at any time in your device's Settings; the rest of the app keeps working.
4. Photos
Poke Album needs access to your Photo Library to import new gift cards. It scans only your Screenshots album, and text recognition runs entirely on your device. If you save an image from the app, it asks for permission to add it to your Photo Library. The app does not use your camera, and no photos ever leave your device except through your own iCloud backup.
5. iCloud backup
If you choose to back up your album, the backup is stored in your personal iCloud account and managed by Apple. We cannot access it.
6. In-app purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment details.
7. Deleting your data
Because your album is stored on your device, deleting the app deletes your data. You can remove iCloud backups in your device's iCloud settings. To have us delete any emails you sent us, just ask at the address below.
8. Third parties
We do not sell, rent or share your information with third parties. The only information we may hold is correspondence you send us. We may disclose it if required by law, such as in response to a court order or a request from a government authority, or transfer it to a successor in the event of a merger or sale.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
